The Fire TV Stick 4K’s design is compact which makes it small enough to just plug into the back of a TV through an HDMI port.

The voice controlled remote is provided with the Firestick. As an alternative to this remote, you can also use an app on your phone which can also be used for keyboard input which is quite handy.

The setting up of the device is quite a standard process. You just have to enter your Amazon account details and your Wi-Fi password via the arrow keys on the remote. The Firestick 4K supports HDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR10+.

You can surf through various apps on the Firestick 4K such as Spotify, Curzon Home Cinema, TuneIn Radio, Twitch, Plex, and more.

An interesting fact is that you can switch from watching something on Amazon Prime Video from your phone to your TV easily by using the app. The Alexa voice control is quite powerful on the Fire TV Stick 4K. You can easily search for programmes by various keywords such as the actor, title or other details. All you have to do is hold down the microphone button at the top of the remote and speak aloud whatever it is you’re searching for. The Amazon 4K Fire TV Stick is powered by MediaTek’s MT 8695 which gives It great efficiency and power. The quad-core chipset is clocked at 1.7 GHz and comes with IMG GE8300 GPU for the graphic capabilities. The storage capacity of the dongle is at 8 GB. The Bluetooth Connectivity support is of 5.0 + LE. In terms of dimensions, the Firestick measures only 99 x 30 x 14 mm (only housing) or 108 mm x 30 mm x 14 mm which is including the connector) and weighs just 53.6 g. This new 4K Firestick is 80% more powerful than the earlier generation best selling Firestick.
