The world had been eagerly waiting for the newest roll-out from Asus and it came just the last week with a bang. It was Asus ZenFone 6 from the brand and the most highlighted aspect of the smartphone was its flip-up camera.

Yes, you would have heard about camera notches, stationary camera, rolling camera and popup camera in the smartphones. However, as the smartphone users expected, Asus arrives with something new that you really can’t miss.

Wish to know a bit deeper about this new flip-up camera in the Asus ZenFone 6?

Here are some interesting details about it:

About Asus Flip Camera:

During the launch, the Asus did not forget to discuss the camera module and the opportunities it arrives with for shutterbugs.

As far as the camera quality is concerned, the flipping camera uses 48MP Sony IMX586 as the primary unit and another 13MP wide-angle camera to compliment it. The specs look really interesting; aren’t they?

Yes, and let us look at the other features equipped with the camera.

The camera module is dependent on a stepper motor which can easily change angles with just a 2-degree variation. Due to this mechanism, the users can control the movement of the camera module manually and it also enhances your versatility when you shoot videos.

How so?

Well, now you can take pictures without even pointing the phone directly to your subject. Interestingly, this one of the factors might fascinate you.

Besides this, the Liquid Metal material is equipped to protect the lenses and the camera is even designed to retract itself if your smartphone gets dropped from a height above 1.5 meters.

Opinion Time:

It really appears so good until you get to know the real hardships. The specs look amazing and so is the camera control in the smartphone.

However, while the smartphone has a really good and interesting camera and battery, the other specs might not amuse you so much.

For instance, the performance of the smartphone is not too reliable with Snapdragon 855 as its chipset. Plus, if you were to buy it, it could easily excavate a hefty sum of around 34,000 from your bank account.

Really? Would you look to invest such a hefty amount on a smartphone to view the camera flipping?

And with the announcement of other interesting smartphones such as Redmi K20 and Redmi 7S, I think the flip camera factor in the Asus Zenfone 6 might see an overdo.

However, do not forget to mention what you think about this new and interesting flipping camera in the smartphone by commenting on the post.
