How often do you lend people some money and forget about it? Well, I guess there are not many people in this category, because more often than not, people remember the person who took money from them.
However, if you are one of those people who offer people money when they come to borrow it, telling a certain date to return but failing to do so, you could be in big trouble in the future.
It doesn’t matter how much money you make per day, you need to keep track of it, save it and most importantly, take back the money that people borrowed from you, promising to return it.
You know, one of the most difficult tasks in the world is to ask for your money from someone who borrowed it from you. It’s like begging money on street and you are not even sure if you would get it back. What if people tell you that they need more time to return it? What if they tell you that they would not return it? What if they consider you shameless for asking your own money back?
These are some questions that haunt people and they never ask their own money back from people who borrowed it. Sometimes, the amount is so petty that people literally consider letting it go than losing their respect in the eyes of other people.
However, even if you need to be shameless, you should always ask for the money back that you lent. You may have to make some excuses and may have to spin a few tales but it is important to ask back the borrowed money if it was not given in charity. And most important, getting money back from those people is really important who live a lavish life on borrowed money.
Remember, when you earn the money, doing charity is a good thing. However, when someone borrows money and promises to return it back, they ought to do it in time. If they fail, you have every right to demand it back and if you are letting it go, you are actually hurting your finances.
