Honor Play 8 is about to grace the budget segment very soon and the market is all excited about it.

But do you think it could compete with the already established brands and make a place for itself in the market? Well, for this to happen, the smartphone has to compete with Realme C2- the current favourite of the budget buyers.

Do you think Honor Play 8 could really make it to the pockets of people with Realme C2 in the way?

Let us find this out by comparing Realme C2 and Honor Play 8 to find out the better one:

Honor Play 8 vs. Realme C2:

· Honor Play 8 contains 5.71-inch screen with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has a beautiful appearance and is available in two beautiful colours which are Aurora Blue and Midnight Black. Against this, Realme C2 comes with a 6.1-inch screen, almost similar resolution and aspect ratio but with a diamond-cut design. You can get it in diamond blue and diamond black colours.

· Honor Play 8 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor which is clocked at 2.0GHz. Against this Realme C2 has a better MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz.

· Honor Play 8 contains 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable to 512GB via a microSD card. Realme C2 occurs in two RAM and ROM variants- 2GB and 3GB RAM, 16GB and 32GB ROM.

· While Honor Play 8 has a great 13MP rear camera with a rear LED flash and autofocus etc., Realme C2 features a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera with a flash.

· Both the smartphones have 5MP front camera to get powerful selfies and video calls which I think is really good at the price

· Realme C2 has a better 4000mAh battery to power your smartphone. Against this, Honor Play 8 has just 3020mAh battery.

· Both Honor Play 8 and Realme C2 have Face Unlock as the security feature but lack Fingerprint sensor.

Having seen the points above and considering the fact that both the smartphones are available at almost a similar price, I think Realme C2 surely has an edge over Honor Play 8.

However, Honor certainly has a better market reputation and it would be interesting to see how the smartphones perform in the market.
