How to Make Sure You DO NOT Hurt People

  • Think at least for a second before you speak. Sometimes, people do not think before speaking and end up hurting other people. Yeah, it’s true that people can feel bad about anything, but if you start thinking before you speak, you will get a better idea of what to say and what to not.
  • Always remember that most people do not take the truth about them too well. Even when they know that the person has spoken the truth, they tend to get offended and they are not a sport. Hence, if you have any such people in your life, either do not speak the truth in front of them, do not speak to them at all, or speak to them with comforting lies if you need them.
  • Try to understand the condition of people by putting yourself in their shoes. How will you feel if someone else would have said something like that to you? It’s very easy to say that you will not feel bad at all but difficult to live that upon that situation in real life.
  • People who end up hurting others by the way they speak, generally do not intend to hurt people, but somehow it becomes their nature. And such people have a very small group of people around them. If you are one such person with very less friends, do remember that these are your true friends and never say something bad or uncomforting knowingly to them.
