Motorola has today announced the launch of its latest budget-centric smartphone, the Moto E6s, in India. The smartphone is available in Polished Graphite and Rich Cranberry and it comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999. The phone will be available for purchase from Flipkart starting September 23, 2019.

The latest smartphone from Motorola comes loaded with a reflective finish and the back panel is removable. The phone is loaded with a 6.01-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and a waterdrop notch design.

The Moto E6 S has been flaunting the presence of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage in its marketing promos for a while. For a phone priced at Rs 7,999, that is a great deal especially for those consumers who want more storage and more RAM. You can also expand the storage with a micro SD card slot. Hence, if you download a lot of movies or songs, the Moto E6s is a nice choice.

However, Motorola is using a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and we have seen this chip in other budget phones performing just well enough for everyday tasks. One advantage the Moto E6s has is that unlike its rivals, it uses a stock build of Android 9 Pie and this means that performance should be decent in the long run.

The Moto E6s is backed by a 3000mAh battery and it comes bundled with a 10W charger. The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it delivers stock Android experience. It is backed by a fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature as well. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS,3.5mm audio jack, dual-SIM and micro USB port. The phone measures 155.6 x 73.06 x 8.6 mm and weighs 149.7 grams.
