I think 90% of the smartphone users would be acquainted with Realme as a smartphone brand in India but I guess not even 50% of the users would know Infinix as a smartphone brand and this makes complete sense.
Infinix as a brand has hardly ever used traditional methods such as Television Marketing and Newspaper marketing in India. In fact, it markets its products over the internet and has obtained a fairly good result.
Talking about Infinix Note 7 vs Realme 6, there’s absolutely no prize for guessing which smartphone would turn more popular in the market if kept on the same platform.
Infinix Note 7 has still not hit the market and is waiting for the quarantine period to get over in India while Realme 6 came quite some time ago and is doing really well. I discussed about the features of these smartphones as soon as they became official.
Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, I think Realme 6 would prove superior in almost everything. For instance, since both these are gaming smartphones, it is important to know their processors. While Realme 6 is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T chipset which is the best one among the mid-range gaming chipsets, Infinix Note 7 has MediaTek Helio G70 chipset which again has a lot of value in the budget segment.
But if you compare them, MediaTek Helio G90T chipset would offer you better performance and thus you can deem it better in the gaming section as well as overall performance.
Also, in the camera section, Infinix Note 7 consists of a 48MP quad-camera setup with quad LED flash while Realme 6 consists of a powerful 64MP quad camera which has a single LED flash and here too, Realme 6 looks a better option. However, it should be noted that the 16MP front camera is the same in both the smartphones.
Both the smartphones come in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. However, the battery specs of Infinix Note 7 could be called a bit better. It has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support while Realme 6 consists of a 4300mAh battery with a more powerful 30W fast charging support.
However, it should also be noted that for better specs, Realme 6 takes as much as 3k higher than Infinix Note 7 with the same specs of RAM and ROM and this is why, I think both the smartphones are good enough at their respective costs. If you are a budget buyer, you can go for Infinix Note 7 which would offer you decent gaming performance while if you are a heavy gamer and can afford Realme 6, you can surely go for it. However, Realme 6 would be a better option for gaming.
