Lava Agni 5G vs Realme 8s 5G: What’s Similar and Different

  • As aforementioned, the very first similarity between the devices is their MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset that is an octa-core 5G chipset with a primary clock speed of 2.4GHz. And this is why, both Lava Agni 5G and Realme 8s contain the same Mali-G57 MC2 GPU as well. However, the advantage with the Lava device is its Stock Android 11, while Realme 8s runs on Realme UI 2.0
  • Both the devices occur with a similar max RAM and ROM support. Both of them have a max of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, Realme 8s contains a lower variant with 6GB RAM as well.
  • Both the smartphones contain a similar 16MP front camera which looks quite good for taking selfies and video calling.
  • The battery power and the charging support are again similar in the devices. Both of them contain a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and this looks wonderful.
  • Even the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the face unlock feature is similar in the devices.
  • While both Lava Agni 5G and Realme 8s 5G contain a similar IPS LCD display with a 90Hz display refresh rate and 1080p display resolution, the display size in Lava Agni 5G is 6.78 inches and it contains a better screen-to-body-ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 support, Realme 8s has a 6.5-inch display and it does not have Gorilla Glass support.
  • Talking about their cameras, while both of them have an exactly similar 64MP main camera and 2MP each for depth and macro, Lava Agni 5G contains an extra 5MP ultrawide camera and this makes it a quad-rear camera device against a triple rear camera in Realme 8s.
  • Talking about the price of the devices, both of them occur at around 20k in India, but for 20k, you get Lava Agni 5G with 8GB RAM and Realme 8s with 6GB RAM.
