Lava Blaze 5G vs Redmi Note 10T 5G: Indian vs Chinese
Lava just launched the most affordable 5G smartphone in India and it’s the new Lava Blaze 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset at just 10k. But this Mediatek chip was already very popular in the budget segment and many Chinese smartphones used it at a slightly higher cost than the Lava device.
However, while Lava has raised the bar by dropping the prices, the competition is intense and the new Lava Blaze 5G stands as a competition to some of the popular options such as Redmi Note 10T 5G with the same MediaTek chipset. So which one of these devices is better for you?
Let’s compare Lava Blaze 5G and Redmi Note 10T 5G to find out the better option:
- Starting with the display, both these devices contain a similar display size with IPS LCD support and a 90Hz display refresh rate. However, the difference between them is that Redmi Note 10T 5G has up to 1080p display resolution while Lava Blaze 5G is limited to 720p.
- As aforementioned, the smartphones have the same Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor that is octa-core in structure and is clocked at 2.2GHz. However, the difference is the UI of the devices where Redmi Note 10T 5G has the troublesome MIUI 12 over Android 11 while Lava Blaze 5G contains Stock Andriod 12 support.
- Redmi Note 10T 5G was launched in 3 different variants, where the RAM support varied between 4GB and 6GB, while the ROM could be chosen from 64GB and 128GB. Against this, Lava Blaze 5G comes in a single variant that contains 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Let us keep the virtual RAM support feature away from this comparison.
- There is hardly any difference in the camera section of the devices except for the fact that the Redmi Note 10T 5G has a 48MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera with an LED flash while the Lava Blaze 5G has a 50MP + 2MP + VGA camera support with an LED flash. Both these smartphones have the same 8MP front camera as well.
- Talking about the battery support with the devices, you get a powerful 5000mAh battery in both these devices. However, while Redmi Note 10T 5G has 18W fast charging support, Lava Blaze 5G has 10W charging support only.
These are some of the major differences between these devices. And you might feel that Redmi Note 10T 5G is slightly better in terms of features. However, you need to know that while Lava Blaze 5G is just 10k in terms of price, the same variant of Redmi Note 10T 5G would cost you 15k for a device that has half the internal storage.
So which one of these devices do think is a better option for the users?
