OPPO A7X: Mid-range King?

The Oppo A7X is a mid-range smartphone and was launched in September of 2018. This mobile phone comes with a 6.3-inch FullHD+ touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a pixel density of 409 PPI. The aspect ratio of the display is at 19.5:9 whereas the screen-to-body ratio is at 90.8%.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor is clocked at the speed of 2.0 GHz and built on a 12nm fabrication process and 64-bit architecture. For handling the graphical requirements of Oppo A7X, it is equipped it ARM Mali G72 MP3 GPU with a frequency of 800 MHz.

As far as the performance is concerned, the phone has a powerful and smooth performance without any lags. Multi-tasking can be carried out with ease without any frame drops. In terms of memory and storage, the smartphone packs 4 GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded to up to 256 GB with a memory card. On the camera front, the Oppo A7X comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera and a 2 MP depth sensor on the rear along with an 8-megapixel front facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The phone also supports Face Detection and high HDR imaging as well.

As far as the software is concerned, Oppo A7X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

The Oppo A7X has a wide array of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, 4G and Micro-USB. The sensors available on the phone include a Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor. In terms of battery, the phone is powered by a large 3500 mAh battery which keeps the device running for a long period of time. With the power efficient MediaTek Helio P60 processor, the battery doesn’t keep running out. The Oppo A7X comes in different colour variants which are Starry Purple and Ice Flame Blue. At the back, the mobile phone features a fingerprint scanner.
