Did you know that for the same amount of RAM and ROM, there is a difference of about 5k in the price of Oppo Reno 6 Pro and OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphones in India? Well, even when these midrange-flagship smartphones share many similar features, there are considerable differences as well.
Talking about similarities, the most common element is the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core chipset that is octa-core in structure and clocked at 3GHz. This octa-core chipset has been a favorite of the smartphone designers lately for the price range and both Oppo and OnePlus are competing with this in their core.
Apart from this, both these devices share the same 32MP front camera section, the same 4500mAH battery with a similar 65W fast charging support, and a similar under-display, optical fingerprint scanner as well.
But why do you think there is a difference in the cost of both these smartphones?
Here are some of the reasons:
- Oppo Reno 6 Pro and OnePlus Nord 2 5G have different displays on the devices. Both the smartphones contain an AMOLED display with a similar 90Hz display refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. However, the display size they support is different.
- One of the major differences between them is their camera section. Both the smartphone have a really good camera but Oppo Reno 6 Pro contains a 64MP quad-rear camera while OnePlus Nord 2 5G contains a 50MP triple rear camera. And you have to give this one to the Oppo device because the camera section in it is just marvelous.
- Both the smartphones support USB Type C charging support but the one in OnePlus Nord 2 5G is slightly inferior. It contains USB Type C 2.0 while Oppo Reno 6 Pro contains USB Type C 3.1
These are some of the major differences between Oppo Reno 6 Pro and OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphones and I think you might have understood the difference between the costs of the smartphones. What’s your view on this?
