Oppo Reno5 Pro vs Realme X7 Pro: The Differences

No, Realme X7 Pro has still waiting to see its debut in India and right now it’s only Oppo Reno5 Pro that would provide you the MediaTek 5G processor. However, I chose to compare these smartphones because the similarities between the smartphones are so striking that it would leave you amazed. Most importantly, both the smartphones are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor and have an almost similar display as well.

However, we are here to talk about the differences, and let me tell you these:

Size and Weight:

While Oppo Reno5 Pro measures about 7.6mm in size and weighs about 173g, Realme X7 Pro measures 8.5mm in size and weighs close to 184g. I know this is not a huge difference but it was still important to say.

Android Support:

While Oppo Reno5 Pro runs on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11, Realme X7 Pro has Realme UI based on Android 10. You may think that the Oppo smartphone has an advantage in this but you must not forget that Android updates are very easily available on both devices.

Max RAM Support:

Oppo Reno5 Pro can support a max of 12GB RAM in the smartphone while Realme X7 Pro can support only up to 8GB RAM. However, do you think you need even 8GB RAM in your smartphone? I would do well with 6GB, even when I am playing games.

Battery Support:

Out of all the features, I think the battery is the one with a slightly better difference, and while Oppo Reno5 Pro supports a 4350mAH battery, Realme X7 Pro supports a 4500mAh battery. And while this is a very minor difference again, surprisingly both the smartphones have the same 65W fast charging support.

Apart from these, all the other specs of the smartphones are nearly the same. However, it is estimated that Realme X7 Pro with almost similar specs and MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor would come to India at a cost a lot lesser than that of Oppo Reno5 Pro.
