While most of the smartphones are awaiting their launch due to the quarantine period in India, Xiaomi has already launched a couple of smartphones and these look really good.

Among these, Redmi Note 9 is the only one with a new Mediatek chipset and looks really good for a budget segment smartphone. However, the cost of the smartphone has still not been revealed. Let us have a look at the major features of this smartphone:

Features of Redmi Note 9:

Display and Design:

Redmi Note 9 contains a 6.53-inch screen with a 1080 x 2340 pixel screen resolution and a punch-hole display. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, screen to body ratio of 83.5 percent, and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Processor, OS and GPU:

The smartphone contains the new MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core gaming processor which is clocked at 2GHz and this is surely something new in the town. However, the processor is still to be released by the brand. The smartphone has Android 10 as its operating system and Mali-G52 MC2 as its GPU.

RAM and ROM:

The smartphone comes in two variants of RAM which are 3GB and 4GB and two variants of internal storage which are 64GB and 128GB. The storage specs look good enough but the price of the smartphone is still to be revealed.

Camera Specs:

The smartphone contains a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad rear camera setup with powerful LED flash and I think this is good enough to take powerful pictures and videos. The camera contains a lot of AI features which are good enough for editing the images. Also, it comes with a 13MP front camera to power the selfies and the video calls.

Redmi Note 9 has a 5020mAh battery which is amazing for gamers and other kinds of users. It has 18W charging support and 9W reverse charging support as well.

Security Specs:

As far as the security specs are concerned, the smartphone contains a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature as well.

As far as the specifications of this smartphone are concerned, I think this is a treat for the gamers and this would really work well if it arrives at a price range of around 12k in India. Would have to wait for the reveal of the price of the smartphone.
