Umidigi F1: Best Budget Phone Yet ?

The Umidigi F1 is a budget offering which comes with a 6.3-inch touchscreen display with a Full-HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone also has 2.5D bent glass for an added depth in the display. A special feature of this smartphone’s display is the water drop Notch which gives better viewing angles. In terms of built quality, the phone has a metal body design.

Under the hood, the Umidigi F1 will be equipped with the latest MediaTek Helio P60 which is an octa-core processor working with four Cortex A73 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz with four Cortex A-53 cores. The processor is based on a 12 nm manufacturing process and is built on a 64-bit architecture. For the graphical requirements, the phone has the ARM Mali G72 graphics unit with a clock frequency of 800 MHz clock. Performance wise, the hardware does not fail to impress. In terms of storage and memory, the smartphone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB with the support of a memory card. On the software front, the Umidigi F1 runs on Android 9.0 Pie Operating System. The phone can be bought in three colour variants which are Black, Red and Gold.

In terms of the battery capacity of the phone, the Umidigi F1 packs a huge 5150 mAh non-removable battery which can keep the phone running on a single charge without constantly reaching you’re your changer. The smartphone also supports quick charging. And with MediaTek’s Pump Express technology, the charging process anyway should also not take too much time. On the imaging front, the mobile phone packs a dual camera on the rear comprising of a 16MP primary sensor along with an 8MP secondary sensor with F/1.7 aperture. For the front-facing camera, the phone has a 16MP high-resolution sensor for taking selfies and video calling. In terms of the design, the smartphone is just 8.8 mm thick phone with some premium features. The phone also has an array of sensors present such as the Proximity sensor, Light sensor, Accelerometer, Compass and Gyroscope, complete with a Fingerprint sensor.
