Vivo Y30: Surprise, Surprise!
Vivo suddenly said SURPRISE to the Indians and there came a Vivo Y30 smartphone which had some pretty interesting specs and this smartphone now sits comfortably in the Indian online stores waiting for its customers. Well, Vivo certainly surprised all the people but do you think this smartphone was worth the surprise Vivo offered? Do you think it is good enough?
Well, to deem it better, we would rather need to look at the specifications of the smartphone and here is a brief description of the specifications of this smartphone.
Specifications of Vivo Y30:
Vivo Y30 has a good outer design with a 6.47-inch display,720p display resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset under the hood which is clocked at 2.3GHz and this chipset has a good overall performance for the budget devices. It has Android 10 support as its operating system and PowerVR GE8320 GPU for the graphics department.
The smartphone consists of a 13MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad rear camera with an LED flash to ensure you get good images and videos even in the dark. Plus, it has an 8MP front camera which would be good enough for your selfies and video calls. It also has 128GB of storage and 4GB RAM to ensure that you never run out of storage. Not just these, there is a 5000mAh battery supported with 10W quick-charging support, Face unlock feature and sensors such as Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass etc. Even the connectivity specs of the smartphone look good enough.
And after all these, you must be eager to know the price of the smartphone. Well, the smartphone costs you 15k in India and there is only a single variant of this. After hearing this, you might think that why would I rather take this at a higher cost and not something the Realme 6 at the same cost with much better specs or Realme Narzo 10 with MediaTek Helio G80 processor and other good features at much lesser price.
Honestly, if you are thinking this, we are on the same boat. The specs of the smartphone are good enough but I think it should have opted for a lesser price than this because, as of now, there are lots of smartphones with much better specs and much lesser cost than Vivo Y30. Vivo might have been thinking of launching this smartphone a lot earlier but things got messed up due to lockdown in India and suddenly there was a flood of good options at very less cost.
So I think this Vivo Y30 by the brand was not a surprise at all and it would surely lose its price in some days. What do you think?
